Wortley Hall is about 7 miles from the centre of Sheffield in a countryside setting. Directions by road from various approaches are given on the link below.

The best airport to fly into is Manchester if you are using public transport, as Manchester Airport has a mainline station with trains to Sheffield twice an hour (07 and 52 mins past) - the 52 mins ones are direct. Check with other airports (eg Leeds, East Midlands and Sheffield/Doncaster) for links to stations to Sheffield. TRAIN INFORMATION AND TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE 24/7 FROM www.thetrainline.com. We have provided an extract from the timetable below to cover the most relevant hours on Wednesday and Friday.
Trains from Manchester Airport to Sheffield
FROM SHEFFIELD STATION buses [no 29] run every 2 hours from the transport interchange opposite the mainline station, at 35 minutes past the hour, and take 38 minutes to St Leonards Church Wortley, which is opposite the Hall gates and a few minutes walk down the drive to the main reception. On Tuesday 25th there are buses at 10.35 arriving at 11.13, and at 12.35 arriving at 13.13. Returns on Friday are at 13.48 arriving 14.25 and 15.48 arriving 16.25.
